Marie Claire – The last days of summer shoot

The last days of summer - February Marie Claire

I always love working with the team from Marie Claire and this romantic seaside shoot was the fabulous combination of nostalgic influenced fashion and contemporary design. It was the perfect brief for me and I loved sourcing all of these beautiful vintage props.

Photographer Corrie Bond perfectly captured the mood and the treatment she has used on the images gives them a cinematic edge. Looking at these photos you could almost imagine Katherine Hepburn or Marlene Dietrich lounging by the riviera. Kate Harrowsmith did a brilliant job with the styling , always selecting such divine pieces and putting them together with her own elegant flare.

Many of the props came from one of my all time favourite stores Newtown Old Wares.Brian always has such great stock both classic vintage prop pieces and unexpected treasure.

I hope you enjoy these last days of summer ……….
