Marie Claire – Finishing School Shoot

The last Marie Claire Shoot I worked on was a decadent and stylish soiree. A French Finishing school showcasing sophisticated lady like luxury.

The location for the shoot was the historical house Mahratta’ one of Sydney’s finest examples of an Art Deco home. The 1.6 hectare gardens are filled with rare and exotic native Australian plants, laid out by the famous Danish landscape architect Paul Sorensen. It truly was a magical place to spend the day.

A big thank you to Jo from the Vintage Kitchen for the use of her beautiful silver tea sets , cutlery , crystal vases, tea services and napery. Such a delight to work with your wonderful treasures. Thank you also to the ever talented Annette Twemlow for her hand painted art works of the property featured on the easels in the garden art class scene. As always it was a pleasure to work with photographer Corrie Bond and Fashion stylist Kate Harrowsmith.
