Pia’s professional singing experience has as much diversity as her influences Beginning in musical theatre as a young child,moving to clubs and bars in early adulthood , She has studied Jazz at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney and has also been the featured voice in many Triple M radio jingles and voice overs.

For the last five years Pia has been setting stages alight with her sophisticated glamour and energetic live shows. Pia plays with a variety of Sydney bands including the 8 piece Cocktail Swing band the ‘ The Cocktail Cabinet’ , 15 piece ‘Black and White Big Band,’ and 7 piece Jump Blues outfit ‘ The Hollywood Hombres’.
She also performs regularly with Australian rockabilly legend Pat Capocci and her own combo Miss Pia and her Lonesome Playboys with whom she is currently working on original material for the release of her first solo ‘EP’
The combined styles of these groups provide her with the opportunity to utilise her extensive repertoire, performing nostalgic standards, classic rhythm and blues, a touch of soul, something that swings and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll.

Her Voluptuous vocals are dripping with innuendo and her playful mannerisims will remind you of a time when the art of seduction was all in the tease. Chanteuse Pia Andersen is a Rockabilly Bombshell with a torching soul.

His 3 piece combo has been causing a ruckus all over the country with his unique rockabilly inspired sound and toe tapping original tunes.
When Pia and Pat share the stage they crank out their favourite non-stop, action packed rockin’ 50′s tunes and mix of raw originals. They Have played together at festivals, a host of corporate gigs, weddings and many public events and have plans to record together very soon.

Jazz

Chanteuse Pia Andersen’s dulcet tones will tease and captivate you with haunting sensuality. Backed by Sydney’s finest Jazz men, Pia’s classy sounds and extensive repertoire guarantee to create the perfect mood for any occasion.

The Louis Prima Tribute Show ‘The Wildest Act this side of Vegas’

One part swing, a dash of jump blues, and a whole lot of vintage cool, Sydney’s 9 piece ensemble The Cocktail Cabinet brings back the days of legendary lounge, in their high energy Louis Prima Tribute Show.
Without doubt one of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century, Louis Prima began his career as a straight out jazz trumpet player. Over the next 5 decades he became an Entertainer, Composer, Big Band Leader, Vegas Lounge act, and Movie Star.
The Cabinet will take audiences back to the big band era as they pay tribute to the man who was known as the original “King of Swing,” The show features the talents of the entire band, fronted by Simon “The Senator” Bartlett, Chanteuse Pia Andersen, and special guest Jazz bird Sarah J Hyland.
The Cocktail Cabinet “plays pretty for the people” performing hits like “Jump, Jive, an’ Wail,” “Angelina,” “Just a Gigolo,” “That Old Black Magic,” “Buena Sera,” “When You’re Smiling” and “Sing, Sing, Sing,” all played as Louis’ original arrangements.
